OPEN AUDITION for Koiné Theater Foundation’s critically acclaimed comedies (both written and directed by Niel de Mesa) “Mga Obra ni Maestra” and “Barya Lang Po sa Umaga” (musical) for its touring run and restaged shows at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Cattle Call on August 29, 2007 6-9pm at the Ateneo de Manila P.E. dept. Dance Hall (near the Covered Courts). Callbacks on August 30, 2007.

Roles available for the animé play “Mga Obra ni Maestra; IMNO- 14-18 year old, tanned, sexy superhero, BAYLE- 14-18 year old, tanned male dancer, THESPA- 8-10 year old, acting genius (all roles will dance and will be taught martial arts choreography). Roles available for “Barya Lang Po sa Umaga”; JEEPNEY DRIVER, COOL UNIVERSITY STUDENT, RAMP MODEL, ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, PRESIDENT, and an emaciated, disheveled PULUBI (Cast will be chosen based on comedic timing. All will go through separate song and dance audition). Actors auditioning for “Barya Lang Po sa Umaga” should prepare a song (please bring minus one if possible—cassette or CD) and a joke.
